What Happened To John Smith's Story?

A Monday morning in Long-church was the beginning of John Smiths story. John was a middle aged lad who had worked his way up the ladder to make detective. He had recently been transferred to Long-church to be a leading detective in a child 's suicide. John was paired up with a local detective named Patricia Jones, but he didn 't really agree with using first names so he just calls her Jones. Jones had lived in Long-church for all of her life and everyone knew her because it was a rather small and rural area.

They both arrived at the scene of the suicide on a Cliffside beach towards the edge of town. Jones and Smith inspecting the scene and checking for any signs of struggle or abuse. The child 's body sitting there pale and blue with glossy eyes, also covered in sand as if the tide had brought him in. His clothes ripped and worn as if he had been scraped up against the Cliffside. While they were waiting on the test results from the strain of hair they found they decided to question the family to see if anyone would want to hurt their son. They got there and the father and mother answered the door with a shocked expression on their faces. The parents hadn 't heard the news yet so they were worried as to why the police would be at their door. Jones and Smith were torn because they had to be the ones to inform them of their sons passing. The parents were devastated because they thought he was at his friend Toms house for the night. Smith asked with a humble tone to his voice "Do you know any one who would want to hurt Danny?" and the father replied "No. No one would ever want to hurt Danny he was adored by everyone here." Jones said on the edge of tears "I know. Danny was a good kid and I 'm sorry to be the one who ask you this but we need to find his killer."
