In the Story of Macbeth by William Shakespeare, Macbeth returns from the battlefield with his companion, Banquo; however, on the way to the castle, they were visited by the Weird Sisters. The sisters predicted Macbeth and Banquo's future. Macbeth will be Thane of Cawdor then he will be a king greater than Banquo. On that day, King Duncan will be staying the night at Inverness the castle of Macbeth. During the night, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth arrange the death of King Duncan secretively. The following day, Macbeth fulfills the role of being the Scottish king. His anxiety increases that make his life difficult for him to trust people, which leads him to start killing people. He recognizes his ambitious nature and feels horrendous about his thoughts of committing the act of killing the king. After the ceremony, Macbeth senses that Banquo knows that something suspicious going on with Macbeth; therefore, Macbeth sent three murderers to take care of Banquo, "In such bloody distance: that every minute of his being stabs me against my dearest life. With vulnerable power get rid of him from my sight. That I to your service do make love, masking the business from the common eye for various compelling reasons"(III, i,115).
