Macbeth's Character Changes

In the novel Macbeth, Shakespeare does a great job creating macbeth’s character and telling about how it changed tremendously through the story. Macbeth was first known to be one of the most well respected people in Scotland and more importantly was very well respected by king duncan along with his two sons Malcolm and donalbain and all of the noblemen. Macbeth had a very close relationship with Duncan and he would actually call Macbeth his “worthiest cousin”. The three sisters were also very fond of macbeth to the point where it seemed as if they worshipped him. “All hail, macbeth!hail to thee, thane of glamis!” Even though it seems now that everybody is very fond of macbeth, his character may not always be the same. “Brave Macbeth” was in the Scottish army fighting against the norwegian army and seemed to please Duncan with his brave actions of attacking Macdonald's castle. He is influenced by his wife, lady macbeth, who informs him that the only way for the two of them to be rich and happy is for Macbeth to become king and take the throne from Duncan.
