What Is The Motive For The Death Of Jackson Longmire Jr

Jackson Burgess Longmire Jr. was pronounced dead on the evening of May 14, 2022, in his own bedroom. He died the evening of his wedding leaving a colossal mystery of what happened and who was involved in the murder. JBL Jr. was a caring family man to his children and his wife. He worked very hard to provide only the best for his family. JBL Jr. was successful in multiple businesses which is why he became so wealthy. He was a healthy man but died of a heart attack leading people to believe foul play was involved. I have reason to believe that Desiree Longmire and Alexis Thompson were the people behind Jackson Longmire Jr.’s unexpected and heartbreaking death.

Desiree Longmire and Alexis Thompson had a strong motive for killing JBL Jr. because

JBL Jr. died from a heart attack and there was the poison digoxin found in his drink. Desiree had been trying to turn a poisonous plant into a medicine for heart patients as her final project. She had spent most of the morning of the wedding making changes and trying to get the medicine just right. In her police interview, she said “I’m trying to develop a new plant-based medicine for heart patients. It’s derived from foxglove. It’s been a real challenge because it can actually be poisonous. I’m just trying to get the formula right. Anyway, it’s my final project of the semester, and I’m really close. So I wanted to spend the morning tweaking it.” These statements prove she was in the greenhouse and working on the plant the morning of Mr. Longmire's death. If the plant was going to be turned into medicine for heart patients but could be poisonous and Mr.Longmire died from a heart attack the plant was the reason for his death. A couple of minutes before JBL Jr. died he was drinking bourbon in his room from a glass. The evidence the police uncovered found 2 percent of water, 42 percent of bourbon, and 56 percent of digoxin. Digoxin is a medicine used to treat heart patients but Desiree wasn’t done tweaking the medicine she was creating to make it safe to consume. Digoxin isn’t something you should have in your bourbon meaning JBL Jr. didn’t know that it was in there in the first place. On

Longmires. Alexis Thompson and Gracie were on duty to serve the bride and groom. In the police report, Alexis was asked who served the bride and groom dinner and she responded “it was me.” This gave Alexis the perfect opportunity to be able to sneak away and retrieve the plant from the greenhouse. Alexis also states in the police report “Gracie was busy flirting with one of the busboys all night.” This piece of evidence shows that Gracie wasn’t around and Alexis had to take full responsibility for the job at hand. Gracie wasn’t there to see anything that Alexis may have done making it incredibly easy for her to do whatever she was planning to do. Alexis claimed that she went into the house to use the bathroom once or twice but no other police reports have witnesses that said she did exactly what she said she was doing. Since she had been serving Mr.Longmire drinks all night he could have asked her to get another one after she had retrieved the plant from the greenhouse on one of her bathroom breaks. Therefore, she was able to poison Mr. Longmire’s drink without anyone knowing or sensing she was doing something deceitful. Desiree and Alexis had to have been on the same page about the plan they were setting up which can be supported when Alexis said “I was pretty busy working.
