When we talk about the American government, we know there’s many factors and people that are behind the scenes and come into play to contribute to the president’s ability to demonstrate himself as the head of the nation. As some uphold bigger responsibilities than others, they all bring something extremely important to the table to allow the growth of our politics. Within all the different roles and branches that make up our government, the Executive Office of the President and the Cabinet hold crucial roles that determine the process of our government. For many reasons, out of those two, one tends to be closer to the president, both personally and politically. Which is why the Executive Office of the President and the Cabinet embody such a massive role in politics. The two of these have different purposes in politics, but come together in the long run. To begin with, the Executive Office of the President was established by Franklin Roosevelt in 1939. It is based upon groups of organizations that run and control the president’s bureaucracy. The Executive Office of the President’s goal is to guide the president in regards to expenses and money, “EOP was designed specifically to serve the president’s interest, supply information, and provide expert advice,” they explained in Chapter 7.
