What Is Wrong In The Story Of Romeo And Juliet

The main characters Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare have a tragic and dramatic love story with a whole bunch of events. In this book, Romeo and Juliet fall in love with each other at first sight and get married. But after a whole lot of unfortunate events, the couple dies. I have found three things I think are wrong in the story. One, they got married too quickly. Two, they fell in love pretty quick and their relationship didn’t last long. And three, they were suicidal if they left each other (banishment, death). Romeo and Juliet got married way to quickly. They should've waited a bit and got to know each other. Juliet wanted to marry Romeo immediately or she’ll break up with him and it’ll be over for them. Romeo and Juliet begged a priest named Friar Lawrence to marry them as quickly as he possibly can. They even wanted to keep the marriage a secret so that the two families wouldn't suspect anything and risk the family feud that they’re having to get any worse. I think that they should’ve gone on more dates and got to know each other more instead of demanding a marriage immediately. …show more content…

Pretty ironic. When the play begins, Romeo wants to be with Roslin but she rejected him. Romeo was pretty saddened by Roslin's rejection. But when he saw Juliet, they immediately loved each other. Not even about five minutes after they saw each other, they started to make out. Romeo even returned to the window of her room that night and started to discuss plans for their marriage. I think that again, they should’ve been friends first, got to know each other more, go on some dates, then start arranging the married. They both died at the end because of there will to love each other and how they couldn't leave each
