During the ASMS International Science fair (ISF) I participated in an activity called Deppresurising app, with the aim to create an application that could reduce stress. When researching the topic of stress management in the workplace, I used the methods of the MEAL Plan and Reverse outlining to break down the articles and to begin organizing the main points of my writing assignments. These three units of the course helped prepare me for the next two units.

As the Dean you represent all of the engineering students at ASU and have the power to help implement my solution for the problem.” As you can see I went back and added a smooth introduction about my audience and made sure it is not forced in the letter or out of place. I observed: In this session, I observed a lot of stress among individuals and including myself. I noticed that there was a member who had missed their first meeting and tried to create her presence in the group by talking a lot. I also observed that majority of students in the group had a hard time balancing everything. I thought: The reason behind this stress would be taking mid terms because it is week 5 and most of us would be worried about it and their other projects and assignments. There was a lot of silence in the group and the cause might be a member being absent and a new member entering the group.

Stress refers to a dynamic interaction between the individual and the environment. In this interaction, demands, limitations and opportunities related to work may be perceived as threatening to surpass the individual's resources and skills. Stress is any physical or psychological stimulus that disturbs the adaptive state and provoked a coping response The increasing interest in stress research is probably because we live in a world that includes many stressful circumstances and stress has been a global phenomenon. It has become an integral part of life and is said to be the price we all pay for the struggle to stay alive.
Stress involves interaction of the person and environment. To quote a definition: “Stress is an adaptive response to an external situation that results in physical, psychological and / or behavioural deviations for organizational participants” (Luthans, 1998). Stress has generally been viewed as a set of neurological and physiological reactions that serves an adaptive function (Franken, 1994). Traditionally, stress research has been oriented toward studies involving the body's reaction to stress and the cognitive processes that influence the perception of stress. However, social perspectives of the stress response have noted that different people experiencing similar life conditions are not necessarily affected in the same manner (Pearlin, 1982).
As I am currently teaching an after school tutorial lessons in my previous school so I have more chance to hang with some of the senior students that is facing the public exam. During the teaching I found that many psychological strategies would possibly be applied to our daily life. I was a secondary school student just a few years ago too. I can understand that assignments and tests thought may seem good to student which urge them to study,it would somehow disturb a student 's study plan and cause a huge stress when those things start to stack. So in the first few lessons, I tried to create a more relaxing atmosphere and pressure-free environment for them.
