A hero strives for a greater good. He goes to extremes to achieve his objective and, in this changes the course of history. He has the will to do what is right by himself and others. Although harm may befall him, a hero will risk his life to achieve his objective; no matter the outcome. A hero’s actions to victory must be noble. In doing this, he can be deemed worthy of eternal life. Yet, it is quite unusual, especially in an era of chaos and terror such as the French Revolution, for a strong and independent thinker to step forward and, in bravery complete a violent task toward achieving freedom; especially a woman. Charlotte Corday, a brave young woman of the revolution, devises a plan to assassinate radical journalist, Marat. In a predominately
