Peter stayed in the cells awaiting the end of the holiday of the unleavened bread. The church prayed for peter and the very day that peter was supposed to be brought forward to people and get killed just as James was an angel of God appeared to him and rescued him from the chains and led him out of the cells to the streets. A useful component of the text contains informative bits of information that make the reader aware of the lengthy but necessary preparation needed for an adequate explanation of the scripture. Of primary importance is the consideration of the congregation when a preacher is first approaching the text. This point is of vital importance as it signifies that the speaker is a member of the body of Christ and the congregation.
