Who was Henry Ford? Henry Ford, founder of Ford Motor Company, was born in Springwells Township, Wayne County, Michigan, on July 30, 1863, to Mary (Litogot) and William Ford. Ford revolutionized factories all over America by creating an assembly-line system that vastly improved production for big corporations. Now, instead of workers moving around dangerous factories, the factory was organized so that workers were stationary while the vehicle moved down an assembly line.
