Andrew Jackson should be on the $20 bill. He helped with the expansion of the United States, inspired the commoners when he became president, and defended the Union and the people.
Many people could say that Andrew Jackson is a villain because he forced Indians to move westward. However, he did help with the expansions of the United States. Without him and the Act, the United States just wouldn’t be here at all. “It will be my sincere and constant desire to observe toward the Indian tribes within our limits a just and liberal policy, and to give that humane and considerate attention to their rights and their wants which is consistent with the habits of our Government and the feelings of our people.” -Andrew Jackson.
