Coretta Scott King, A Civil Rights Leader Did you know Coretta Scott King was not only a civil rights leader but a woman of many talents? The debate which has been discussed by many is whether she is the most influential civil rights leader. Coretta Scott King should be considered the most influential civil rights leader because she helped fight for equality and continued MLK’s legacy. Coretta Scott King is a very important figure in history. She was a woman who helped fight for the cause of equality in various ways. One way she fought for equality was by speaking about it through peace. This is an understandable concern, in spite of that, it is proven that Coretta Scott King did make a big impact in both her works and with her work of pushing MLK’s legacy.
