Jack Braxton sat in shock, while screaming in misery. Almost passing out, he cringed at the sight of his distorted arms and the light slowly dimmed.
“Stay with us Jack!” his friend Blake exclaimed with distress, “The ambulance is almost here!”
Gradually, he vanished into unconsciousness.
“Honey, he’s waking up!” Jack’s mother had a jittery whisper.
Jack was completely silent once he realized where he was. They could the constant beeps from the heart monitors in the hospital, only before hearing a few quiet sobs from Jack. His mother kissed him on the forehead and Jack fell back into slumber. As he slept, he recollected the incident and replayed it in his mind.
The party started at midnight, so he was out his bedroom window thirty minutes till 12 o’clock. He took his bike and when he arrived, Blake Louingston greeted him at the front door.

The soft murmurs and whispers stuck to his brain like super glue. Even considering all the gossip, he finally felt prepared to jump.
He sprinted across the roof and jumped as far as he could. In midair it seemed that he was going to make it, but Jack realized the distance was much farther than expected.
“Oh. My. God. He is not going to make it to the pool,” Blake mumbled under his breath.
Jack was falling head first towards the pavement with the only protection coming from his outstretched arms. Time and motion seemed to slow down, but the outcome was inevitable. Jack screamed in complete fear, knowing what was to come once he hit the ground.
The ground devoured his arms as they collided. His arms were destroyed as blood filled the space around him. Immediate shock and regret overtook his thoughts. Jack was on an emotional roller coaster. He shouted in rage and grief. His body eventually shut down from the ample amount
