The play “The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet” is a love story about two star crossed lovers that can't be together because of their parent’s feud. This results in them both ending their lives later in the play. Throughout the play there were many factors that led up to both of their deaths, but ultimately the main factor of their deaths was adult interference. There are many adults that play a part in their deaths, though the main three were Lord Capulet, the nurse, and Friar Lawrence. In the play Lord Capulet is shown to be a caring and supportive dad who loves Juliet. And he even tells Paris “But woo her, gentle Paris, get her heart; my will to her consent is but a part”(1.2.16-17). The nurse's lack of interference also impacts Romeo and Juliet’s death.
