By suggesting that Romeo is responsible for Romeo and Juliet's death and characterizing him as rash, Shakespeare conveys the theme of lust is blinding to morals and rationality. I think Romeo is responsible because he is the one that decided things in the relationship and made crucial decisions without knowing any details. In the play, Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare Romeo and Juliet fall in “love” in a matter of hours. They then plan to get married but that gets bumped to an earlier date because Juliet was to marry county Paris. Then Romeo kills Tybalt resulting in his banishment and Juliet fake kills herself because she saw no way out of marrying Paris. Romeo then kills himself and Paris because Juliet ”died”. Juliet then wakes and sees Romeo dead and tries to kill herself with the poison on his lips and that doesn’t work so she stabs herself.
