I believe organized activities is very important for children. Organized activities do not eliminate creativity. The benifits to organized ativities is a habit that needs to become a habit at a young age. Habits devoloped at a young age can stick with a child for life. As adults we have organized activities in everyday life. Sports can be great way for children to become familier with following rules. Jobs as a adult have rules and organization just like sports. Children who can learn these habits young will have a better chance to success as a adult. Creativity and a stong sense of self are not eliminated by rules.
