Why Athletes Should Be Paid

If you want to make a ton of money I think you should be a star professional athlete. I know that it might seem far fetched and you might not even like sports but if you like money you should try sports. If you think that athletes salary are all that they make then you are very wrong. And I am going to tell you why. Athletes are not only huge sports stars they are also people like you and me they just are extremely good at what they do. Huge companies see this and take advantage of the opportunity. Some of the athletes include, LeBron James, Rodger Federer, Kevin Durant and Cristiano Ronaldo. Three of the four highest paid athletes off of endorsements are signed with Nike. I think Nike signs the most major athletes because of the empire they have built up.

Me personally do not have a problem with the ridiculous amount of money athletes make but some have a major problem. They are getting upset with it because all they are doing is playing the sport they love and getting paid so, so much more than a person like a police officer or a fireman who is saving people’s lives. And to the people who are getting mad about this I have bad news for you, it is not getting any better. All you hear on the news these days is a new record for most expensive contract and now they have to make a salary or luxury cap because these multi-million dollar companies also know as sports teams can pay so much money they must limit the amount they can pay.

So in conclusion I have a question for you now that you know all the facts, do you think athletes are getting paid too much? Do you think athletes endorsements salaries are growing to high? Do you think big companies should stop paying these athletes so much and actually hire actors? If your answer to every question was yes then I suggest you turn off your television on commercials and do not look at athletes endorsements because they are only getting bigger and
