Terrorist groups are a threat to everyone and anyone everywhere. One current group, as an example, is the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham or better known as ISIS. It is a growing population in the Middle East. Many people assume that ISIS members are all Muslims; however, ISIS is just a group of ruthless human beings that want to take over the world. Everyone wonders what and how ISIS began. This group of people are so vicious and careless that they go terrorize other countries to show fear to others. Not to mention their “reasons” to why they kill innocent lives and put in on social media to let everyone know how much they only care about themselves. ISIS stands for Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham, also called as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant or ISIL. This group follows a distinctive variety of Islam whose beliefs about the path to the Day of Judgement. ISIS took root in the new era created in Iraq after the Americans took control of the country in 2003, as stated in crethiplethi.com, copyrighted in 2014. This group wants a war to take over the world.
