The First world war began in Balkan in July 1914 and ended in November 1918. The war, of course, had many casualties, which left over 16 million dead and about 20 million wounded. The war was between two different groups of alliances: Germany, austria-hungary, and italy against france, britain and russia.

Germany ruled the bottom of the sea. So cause they ruled the sea, they sunk sub sinks without warning, and that ship was crying supplies.They also did unrestricted submarine warfare, which meant that they were supposed to warm passengers first. On feb 1, 91 all vessels that were caught on sight would get sunk. LAter on april 6, 197 they declare war on on germany. Why did they do that? The reason being was because wilson wanted to be seen as a leader and he wanted to create a new war order.
