The First world war began in Balkan in July 1914 and ended in November 1918. The war, of course, had many casualties, which left over 16 million dead and about 20 million wounded. The war was between two different groups of alliances: Germany, austria-hungary, and italy against france, britain and russia.
The First world war was sparked due to Archduke ferdinand and his wife being assassinated by a french serbian nationalist. This was also known as the Balkaln Spark. Yet that was not the main reason that it happened. The main reason that it happened was because of the intricate alliance system in Europe, which states if their alliances has a problem they have to join in. Germany ruled the bottom of the sea. So cause they ruled the sea, they sunk sub sinks without warning, and that ship was crying supplies.They also did unrestricted submarine warfare, which meant that they were supposed to warm passengers first. On feb 1, 91 all vessels that were caught on sight would get sunk. LAter on april 6, 197 they declare war on on germany. Why did they do that? The reason being was because wilson wanted to be seen as a leader and he wanted to create a new war order.
The war impacted the world in many ways. One was the way of mobilization.Which was getting the country ready for ear, Along with that there was also a voluntary draft. The industry changed because factories had to create a lot more materials. Farm prices also raised. They were also only to strike if there was a war. Another impact was changing the tax policy, which mean that every democrat had to pay their taxes. It was also a rich man's war and a poor man's fight.
Another change was also civil liberty. Due to that the espionage act was passed and also the edission act. It also changed the way minorities and women lived. They all had to work and only some of them were allowed to join the
