Q3: World War II started because of many reasons. One of the reasons was because Hitler attacked on the Soviet Union. Even though they had the nonaggression pact. The nonaggression pact was a pact between Germany and Soviet Union. This pact was made so Germany or the Soviet Union will not attack each other. This wasn't an alliance, but they agreed to not attack each other. That's what the Soviet Union thought when they agreed on the nonaggression pact. In Germany's point of view of the situation, the nonaggression pact allowed Germany to attack Poland without the fear of the two front war. The two front war was Germany's greatest fear. Once Germany attacked Poland within a month, France and the British moved their armies in a Maginot Line.
