Gun control is a big issue being discussed in America. Many events in the past 5 years give us reason to discuss the issue of guns. Some examples being the Sandy Hook school shooting around 4 years ago. A mentally unstable man had access to a gun, went to school where his mother was teaching, and killed many children, teachers, and other staff members. Why should others be harmed when they did nothing at all?

Most homicides are committed with firearms and the numbers continue to increase.
Gun control problems Nowadays, we can hear the crimes related to guns from time to time, and each of them is scarified and influential. For example, the accident happened in Sandy Hook Elementary School leads to 20 deaths for primacy school students and 6 deaths for staffs. It is hard to imagine what degree of sadness in their family may suffer. In this way, many people think the government should have stronger gun control regulations.
Everyone encounters an adversity in life. One vital adversity in my life would be standardized tests. Standardized tests such as the ACT and SAT have caused a majority of stress since my junior year in high school. It amazes me how a test score can play a key role when it comes to defining you as a person. The argument seems to be divided into liberal and conservative views, thoughts, and values. A majority of liberals desire stricter gun laws, required mental health check-ups, and longer waiting periods when it comes to purchasing a gun. However, the general census among the Republicans is less governmental interference because they feel that there is already too much governmental control involved.
