Having a senate for the society’s political system keeps everyone involved. In a senate, there are some people who have more say over the laws passed and the public works created, but everyone has the opportunity to participate. People who are wealthier would have more power, but there would never be a tyrant. Also, the citizens wouldn’t all have an equal say. This is good because if everyone had equal power there would be more compromises needed, so it’d take longer to get things done. For example, in Rome, when the Republic was used, there were many decisions and public works finished.
