I agree with Emerson’s statement for many reasons. First, this world is always trying to conform people. Secondly, everything someone does they get judged for it. Lastly, everyone already has plans for people and those people might not want to follow that plan they have laid out for them. Being yourself is a huge accomplishment in a world that is constantly trying to conform everyone into something their not.

The world is always trying to conform people into something their not. The world is always trying to make everyone go with the flow and be the same. For example, everyone has to wear a certain brand of clothes and if everyone doesn’t wear them then their not the same as everyone else in this world’s eyes. Some people say that the world doesn’t change people that they let it change them. But, it will eventually overwhelm them and they can’t stop it. Even though people do have strong will power their stress and everything they have to deal with will consume them and they will end up getting conformed into the ways of the world.

Lastly, most parents already have a plan that the world has gave them for their kids and they won’t have anything but that plan. Kids might not want to follow that plan but don’t want to upset their parents and will follow that plan because they think that’s the only thing for them and if they don’t follow it then they will fail in the world. The plans the world has gave parents for their kids is just another example of how the world tries to conform everyone.

Being yourself in a world that is trying to change you is definitely one of the best accomplishments a person can have in their lifetime. The world is always trying to conform you in many ways. Also, every choice someone makes they get judged for it no matter what it is. Lastly, everyone, especially parents, has a plan the world has gave them whether it be for their kids or for anyone that those people are supposed to follow. Being yourself in this world is an accomplishment that everyone that achieves it should be more than proud
