The second person I chose was Archimedes. He too, had many outstanding achievements and features, but I’m only highlighting two important things. He had created some of the first and most famous simple machines; the pulley, lever, and fulcrum. They are actually still used today, and they are amazing inventions for his time.
In astronomy they found that the sun was 300 times larger than the earth. As well as that the universe was composed of atoms. Also, they were able to calculate the size of the earth. In mathematics they came up with the value of pi, and were also known for the book called elements which was wrote by Euclid. In the physics area they invented the lever pulley and the force pump which came to be the steam engine.
They were all scientists that contributed to the scientific revolution. Rene Descartes was a modern philosopher and mathematician in 1637. He was probably one of the first philosophers ever because he practically invented philosophy (“The Father of Philosophy”). He discovered a way on how
Each and every scientist has different achievements and different impacts to the world. Otto Hahn, a German scientist, is also one of the scientists who created a great impact on the world. His discovery opened up a new era in human history. In this paper, you would find out what he did and how his discovery did creates an impact to this world; but first, let’s takes a look at how did he become a scientist.
In addition, some of Einstein’s discoveries, would go on to make the atomic bomb possible. Possibly one of the most famous equations ever, he created E =mc2. Einstein transformed the laws of time, space, and gravity (Encyclopedia of Scientists). He was the first person to abandon Newton’s light
The equation proves that the energy in a “massive body is equal to the speed of light squared, meter squared per second squared.” (https://www.forbes.com). This supports how, in 1921 he was awarded in the category of Physics for a Nobel Prize. After a few years past, EInstein found out Hitler was going to use atomic bombs in the World War 2 so he contacted Franklin D. Roosevelt, the President of the United States of the time, to create an atomic bomb too.
On the topic of science, Albert Einstein was a big influence on how we view science today. He influenced many different scientists with his theory of relativity. His theory of relativity states that space time in mass or not absolutes but are instead relative to the location and motion of the observer. View influence sir Isaac Newton to come up with the a lot of mechanics according to Einstein's relativity theory. Because of Einstein, scientists have been able to discover things including radioactivity, this structure of atoms, and quantum physics.
Earnest Rutherford began working in the early 1900s toward an atomic model and Geiger joined him in 1908. It was this work that prompted the development of the now-famous Geiger Counter as they studied and recorded alpha-particles, which contributed greatly to his atomic model. This work led to Earnest Rutherford receiving the 1908 Nobel Prize for
He was born 287 BC, and made great mathematical, and scientific discoveries. His name is Archimedes. Archimedes was a hero, who history viewed as a great inventor, had a unique way of thinking, and influenced powerful minds like Leonardo da Vinci. Archimedes left behind many scrolls of his works. Some of his works survived through time, and some did not.
The Nobel Prize On Tuesday, October 3, 2017, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics to three American men, Rainer Weiss, Barry Barish, and Kip Throne. Their award worthy contribution to science? The reality of their vision that gravitational waves could be detected, observed, and measured. The idea that gravitational waves exist is not a new concept.
This included mathematicians Galileo Galilei and Sir Isaac Newton, German astronomer Johannes Kepler and physician William Harvey among others.
Albert Einstein Albert Einstein helps the world. He helped through making the fridge. H helped through his amazing quotes and theories. He is one of the smartest man on earth in my eyes.
When making his decision if he would of chose the physics route he would not of won the first albert einstein award jointly with Julian Schwinger. Kurt Godel went to study in Austria, at
In this day and age of mass shootings, mass hysteria, and mass ignorance, political debates occur everywhere. In these so-called “debates”, many of the participants have their terms misconstrued. This can cause confusion and even lead to emotional, ad hominin attacks. The usual culprits of these ad hominin attacks, Liberals, have no basis for their arguments, and thus resort to emotions to back up their points. Liberalism falls on the left, progressive side of the political spectrum, while conservatism and libertarianism lie on the right side.
Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine Winners Everyone wants to win a Nobel Prize, but which one? In this lesson, we 'll talk about the Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine, and look at some notable past winners. The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine In 1896, Alfred Nobel died, causing his will to go into effect.
