“You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have have to play them better than anyone else.” -Albert Einstein. Many of the successful people in the world today, strive to work harder than all of their competition to be the best. Irving Berlin, Albert Einstein, and Nikola Tesla were all immigrants who all worked extremely hard to be the best they can possibly be. Immigrants have greatly contributed to America’s music, science and engineering industries. Immigrants have made many new types of music that the United States listen to today. One person who changed American music was Irving Berlin. Irving Berlin is known all over the world for his famous music. Berlin wasn’t born into fame, he had to work extremely hard to become the …show more content…
One person immatriculer, is Albert Einstein. Not only, is Einstein a scientist but, he is also a doctor, he received his doctor's degree in 1905 because there were no teaching opportunities in math and physics. Afterward, Albert Einstein found a job opening to become a Professor at Princeton for Theoretical Philosophy so, he came to the United States. When he arrived at America, he came up with many theories, that proved univerties wrong. For an example, he came up with the theory of special relativity, which proved “that the laws of physics are the same for all non-accelerating observers, and that the speed of light in a vacuum was independent of the motion of all observers.” (https://www.space.com/17661-theory-general-relativity.html) This provided a new way of physics and the new way of space and time. As a result, In 1915 Einstein brought to the public his theory of general relativity, which “determined that massive objects cause a distortion in space-time, which felt as gravity.” …show more content…
Which is surprising, considering he dropped out of school at the age of fifth-teen. The reason why he dropped out of school was because he found that the teachers didn’t treat him fairly because they yelled at him for no reason and the teachers gave him too much work. However, Einstein continued to learn and to get even smarter. Albert Einstein came up with the equation, E equals MC squared, which later became his most famous equation. The equation proves that the energy in a “massive body is equal to the speed of light squared, meter squared per second squared.” (https://www.forbes.com). This supports how, in 1921 he was awarded in the category of Physics for a Nobel Prize. After a few years past, EInstein found out Hitler was going to use atomic bombs in the World War 2 so he contacted Franklin D. Roosevelt, the President of the United States of the time, to create an atomic bomb too. Shockingly, Einstein was against war but, he didn’t want Germany to take over America so, he told the United States to make one, not expecting them to use it. However, by the end of the war the United States used three of the atomic bombs causing them to defeat Germany in the
