I like that it teaches me not to think I am special and don’t need to work hard because I’m probably not special and even if I am I won’t get anywhere with that without hard work. The authors shows us this when he says, “Great careers take years of blood, sweat and tears to build -- even the ones with no flowers or unicorns on them -- and even the most successful people are rarely doing anything that great in their early or mid-20s” (Urban). Now that I’ve read about the generation y yuppies I feel determined not to be like them because I don’t want to be unhappy.
