Why I chose southwest
Since my childhood, it has been my dream to pursue Civil Engineering in one of the most lucrative institutions in this state. I love Civil Engineering course since I have great passion in not only physics but also mathematics. These are subjects that have remained my favorite throughout my learning career. After completing my secondary education, I was to choose an institution that fits my desires to be a Civil Engineer. A blend of choices was presented to me by my parents but my instincts directed me to settle on the Southwest College. Southwest is a community college based in Memphis, Tennessee. It is a college that has been known for producing impeccable Civil Engineers in not only this state but across various states of the United States of America. Being a student who is not within the daily access of the institution, I do online learning. This is an institution that has embraced online studies in order for those students who prefer distant learning to attend lessons as well. As a matter of fact, it would have been extremely expensive for me to carry out normal learning in this institution. Thus, the fact that this college offers distant mode of learning made me chose it for my Civil Engineering Course.
The institution boasts of the best educators in this state. Most of the best Civil Engineers work in this institution as either professors or are part of the management team. Dr. Tracy. D. Hall, for instance, has got vast knowledge in engineering yet she is the President of this institution. Her experience in the realm of engineering would definitely offer a boost to students pursuing civil engineering. Being one of the students, I feel proud for having chosen this institution as my chances of being a good civil engineer are broadened by the amazing staff of Southwest community
