I want to be like Chris Kyle because of his perseverance, dedication, and determination. I learned that all the branches of the military work together. I also learned that the branches of the military request for a certain position and then they get what is available no matter the branch. Also, I learned that soldiers get stars for their work in combat. Another thing that I learned was that soldiers pack a lot for deployment unlike what I thought that they packed hardly anything due to the circumstances of having a lot of people coming at one time.
They want to see you grow up to be respectful of those around you; to give you more opportunities than you could have had if you continued to show disrespect and no remorse for those around you. They put you through painstaking tasks that you would have to complete before the sun rose and after it fell. However only certain type of people will understand these meanings and more. For those who show more of a liking to the Military Academy, they tend to be more of those who want to change and show respect to those they have hurt. They feel sorrow, remorse and even pain themselves for what they have done.
The first time I heard about Americorps, it was my first year as a transfer student at Georgia State University. I had no idea of what the program was and what it consist of. The moment I search and read about the program without doubt I wanted to be a part of. The reason why I would like to join Americorps program because of the purpose it exhibits. Americorps represents the theory of idealism.
There were many reasons why America didn’t join World War I. The U. S. felt they did not need to get involved in foreign country conflicts that did not directly affect them. That wasn’t the only reason why the U. S. didn’t feel the need to join the war. Americans were scared that if they joined the war they would slip back into a Gilded Age. Joining the war could potentially mean that the U. S. would be distracted from all the progress they fought so hard for in the Progressive Era.
I felt, I needed to help and inspire my community to stand up against injustice, but I needed to redefined myself through the military and college. The military helped me established a foundation of ownership, which lead me in enrolling in my local community college where I was enlighten about activism and entered numerous organizations to be involved in service.
2. Are you enrolled in school and furthering your education in some capacity, whether it be certifications and or a degree(s), and tracking your education needed for your military career? 3. My steadfast desire to attend a service academy is rooted from my determination to become the best officer I can possibly be. Service academies focus on a career in the military which has become by life 's dream. The atmosphere at a service academy ensures I will have every resource available to help me mature mentally, morally, and physically to reach my goal. Traditional colleges or universities may offer some military oriented courses such as ROTC programs, however, I am not seeking a course, I am seeking a lifestyle which is assured at a service academy. I feel the daily rigors presented at a service academy will help me prepare for the challenges I will be faced within the fleet more so than a traditional college or university.
I strongly believe that my commitment and willingness to serve was established and developed due to my cultural background and through my experience. In that respect, service comes naturally to me, it has become a defining characteristic of my life.
The military is seen throughout history serving and protecting a greater cause than their own. Historically, the United States would have never existed without a military. It was the organized revolutionary army that earned us freedom from Great Britain. The purpose of the military is to protect a nation’s citizens and territory from threats. The military gave me a different perspective to see the greater good is more important than myself.
Commitment, dedication, and motivation are the three most important values when joining the military. Background checks and months of training are required to ensure that the best is selected to stand strong as one for the best interest of all. Regardless of the requisites, hundreds of individuals devote their time to become part of the US military, unfortunately it is not meant for everyone. Even though the system tries to ensure that only the strong get chosen, it has been proven to be flawed. For example, ex-military personal, like Robert (Bowe) Bergdahl, have left base camps or leaked information to express their feelings towards the military.
I want to be a Warrant Officer because this is how I can best serve my country. Society expects me to fulfill an enormous amount of responsibilities. I will do so with the most humble head all while fulfilling my responsibilities. I am ready, willing and highly motivated to enter what is perhaps the most challenging chapter in my
As I am getting ready to begin my college years, my experience in America is getting richer every day. I have realized how much opportunities I have being an American citizen and living in this part of the world compared to the life i lived in Togo and I intend to make the most of it. I’m working toward my goals and one of them is to join the military. I always have the desire of serving people and I believe serving in the Military is one way to show my gratitude to my new country and its
Attending college and studying to become a nurse has higher possibilities for me to do the things I want in life. College is a great time for students and a great way to receive a higher education instead of being in the acts of war when I’m only 20 years of age. I love helping my peers, family members, and strangers, it’s a passion that I have and want to pursue with nursing. Joining the army I would have to take into mind that in war I will have to kill foreign enemies who try to attack me or my fellow soldiers. The act of killing a person is can be terrifying to me and many individuals.
Without enlisting, I would not have had the privilege of learning about the world around me and other
Throughout my childhood and adolescent years, I always had a dream of joining the military. Though it was a choice, I still did not have any inside information of what it would be like, and the requirements and specifics of the Army. It wasn't until 2005 when I decided to join the United States Army that all my concerns and questions were answered by a recruit; and I was guided through the whole process to enter and prep for the Army. If it was not for the confidences and motivation of my recruiter back in 2005, I might have not made my leap and probably would not be in this uniform today. Becoming a member of the United States Army recruiting team means having a physical and mental toughness in order to perform efficiently.
