There are a few major places that the story takes place in. These
In my opinion, I would like to focus on a career that is enjoyable, productive, creative and simultaneously allows you to work for the betterment of humanity. I have always wanted to work in a Health profession. I enjoy working with people and I like the team atmosphere approach of a dental office. Dental hygiene is becoming an exciting career as dental laws are changing and the role of the hygienist is increasing regarding patient care.
The career field that I have chosen to go into is the medical field. In the medical field I would like to become a dental hygienist. The background that I have on dental hygienist is that you exam gums, clean teeth, and teach about oral care. The research that I have already done on this profession is a dental hygienist annual salary and required hour of work. Some more research I utilized is how many years of college are needed, what you do while at work, and if you work by yourself or who you work with.
My career goal in the exercise science and wellness field would be becoming an athletic trainer. I enjoy playing and watching sports and have some knowledge about certain things that needs to be done when an injury occurs to an athlete. In ten years, I would expect to see myself working as an athletic trainer at Penn State University. My result of the Kiersey Temperament Sorter does support my career goal because the result showed my personality type is that of an artisan. An artisan has natural ability to excel at jobs that require hands on operations such as an athletic trainer.
Hello Everyone. I am looking forward to getting my degree and working as an parole officer in the state of Texas. This has always interested me since I was working in a jail some years back. I would see parole officers come in and some would actually talk to us about going to school and becoming parole officers. Since I also have about 7 plus years of experience in corrections for the state prison system I would be qualified to be on a parole board at a prison.
I was drawn to the Culinary Arts Program at St. Louis Job Corps because I have never enjoyed doing things that required me to sit for long periods of time studying things I would have no use for like book work. I knew many basic cooking skills from home and loved watching Quantum Kitchen on TV where they made totally unique dishes for every customer’s party. Culinary Arts lets me be creative and move around in ways other fields do not. Culinary Arts is a great fit for me because I have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). I have to be doing something engaging or I lose interest and do other things that aren't as productive.
The career I have chosen has to do with criminal justice. Criminal justice is something that 's always seemed to grab my attention. It 's something I feel I was born to be interested in. I really enjoy helping others in any way so I figured why not pursue a career as a probation officer. Not only will I be helping others, but I will be preventing an offender from repeating the same mistake.
After I earn my bachelors degree I would like to get my masters so I can be separated from other people in my field, and if I have a masters my client maybe would trust me more than if I had just my bachelors. Another career goal is being the top nutritionist in the area, and being the most knowledgeable. I want to reach out to my clients and help them out as much as I
When being a supervisor, you have a lot of responsibilities that you need to take on every day with the people who work for you. It is important that the supervisor always oversees the jobs/activities that are being performed and making decisions on what to do. When it comes to everything with being a supervisor, there are ten reasons the supervisor hat fits me just fine. The first one is having good behavior, which means that you need to be approachable in every situation. You want to be positive and make sure that people in your team feel that they can come to you.
When I decided to train to become a professional school counselor, I knew I had a long road ahead. I am trained to be a teacher, a special education teacher to be specific, and though I will be able to use much of my past experience as a classroom teacher in my school counseling practice, I am aware that I will also need to see my students in a new way, a more holistic way. I will need to focus not only on what works in the classroom, but what works in order to motivate and support the students with whom I meet. It is essential for me to determine what will drive me, inspire me to be the best school counselor for both my school and students, therefore, I must determine my professional philosophy of education and school counseling and develop my beliefs, vision and mission statements.
I have always thought about working in the medical field, but where was the question. I started looking at the field of nursing. My mom works as a nurse so it was obvious that I start there. From my research I found out all of the great things about being a nurse. This research answered my question.
My educational goal is to earn a degree in Biology and Spanish from the University of California, Riverside, in hopes of getting a job inside the laboratory department at Kaiser. Based on labs that I have already done at the University, I found that I enjoy working in a similar setting. I would love to have the opportunity to shadow a connoisseur in a similar work environment, as it would be a valuable learning experience. I come from a low-income family in Oakland, California. The economic barrier that has restricted my family has prevented us from moving out from where we live.
I am applying for a place to study social work because I have always wanted to be able to make a difference to people's lives. With social work I believe I can do this in a caring and supportive way. Many of my life experiences have led me to who I am today. The first thing I remember that caught my attention was how my cousin would always stay with my family. He would be spent weeks with at my house without contract with his parents.
A role model is a person who inspires and encourages us to strive for greatness, live to our fullest potential and see the best in ourselves. A role model can be anybody, a parent, a sibling, a friend, a singer, but some of our most influential and life changing role models are teachers. Doctors, engineers, policemen, soldiers and politicians, how did they all get to where they are today? No matter the position someone may hold in society everyone has progressed to where they are in life because they had a good teacher that taught them with a valuable education. What do I want to do after 10 years?
In five years, I hope to be in college, studying about something I'm interested in. I want to get into a good college with a great psychology program where I can learn enough about it so I can turn it into a progression. One thing I've noticed is that it's hard to find a hobby which is directly related to psychology, unlike other professions where your hobbies can be very similar to what you would be doing in that job. I believe that given the environment I was born into, where I have had to help many people to get through tough periods in their lives, I could be a good psychologist. This being my reality, I have grown to enjoy listening to people’s problems and difficulties and trying to help them to the best of my abilities.
