A little about me come May I will have a Bachelors Degree in Integrative Studies with a concentration in Child and Family Development, and Sociology, from Kennesaw State University. It is a foster home in Woodstock, Ga that has taken in about twelve children. I would help the kids with homework, mentor, get them ready, etc. I also have volunteered with the Atlanta Dream Center, we would go into lower inner-city neighborhoods; and interact, and mentor young children and adolescence in their homes, parks, schools, and church. My education has also given me plenty of hands on experiment for example, in my Family Life Education class I had to create an hour presentation for a group of lower income parents on nutrition, eating healthy on a budget, and reading and understanding food labels. I have gained extensive knowledge on the development of families and children, and I’ve looked at the many structures and theories of families. I’ve also studied mental health, and how social and economic changes can affect an individual and their family. My education has also taught me the frameworks and laws that surround many social service fields. (such as
