I am Nolan Rogers. I am a freshman here at Malvern Prep. I am interested in being a part of one of Malvern’s many opportunities, global exchange. I am very interested in the trip to Sydney, Australia. I believe I would be an admirable ambassador for not only Malvern Prep but also The United States. I believe I would be a wonderful choice. First of all, I have an all around positive attitude. If one were to ask the teachers and the friars at malvern I can almost guarantee they will say something along the lines of, “He is a great kid and always has a smile on his face.” The only reason I know that they would say that is because some of them will say it to my face and tell me how I bring a good energy to almost everywhere I go. This is not only in school. Weather it is my sports coaches, youth group leaders, or even the people at the gym I go to. In the words of Mr. Rawlings ,”Nolan, you are one of the biggest extroverts I have met.” Being outgoing and a having positive attitude are not my only traits. I am a participating student in class. I have had good grades since sixth grade. Since sixth grade I have had some sort of honors every marking period. In eighth grade, my first year at malvern, I was inducted into the National Junior Honors Society. …show more content…
One example is the two chinese students in the freshmen and sophomore class, Hao and Yao. I have made a good friendship with them over the past two months. I am always interested in hearing about what life was like in china for them. I have a pretty well rounded experience with travelling to new cultures. The two main different cultures that differ from the United States the most that I have visited are Mexico and England. They were not a major different culture, for we shared several similarities. They still were fun trips and learning how different people around the world
