When I meet a new friend or someone on the street and start a conversation. They always ask "why are you going to college for". I always say that “college is the best option for me is because of three reasons it make a better person, more option, and I don’t want to live like my family. Fist of all going to college made me a better person by letting me choose my own path and see the out come, it teaches reasonability's. Second it open a whole new world for me.
I would go to college because I would know that my future is ensured and that i will be able to receive a job more easily since competition is growing. My education has always been something i value and i have always had a desire to learn more and gain more knowledge that i can apply to the real world. College helps you become independent and find your true calling. Its an important part of growing up and will help you find out what you want to do in life.
Why do I want to attend college? College is an honorary achievement and it separates the determined from the undetermined. Owning a college to degree is an honor and an ecstatic feeling. Through college, that job is that much closer in the grasp. Through college, a person can perform at an elite level and really push themselves for greatness.
Doing what I love and being able to support myself and loved ones is important to me. I am a very independent person and I like to do things my way. I like to set individual goals everyday, whether that means doing my homework before a certain time, or completing something for the week. They help me get my work done on time and efficiently.
The reasons why I am attending college Personally, I decided to go to the college because my parents always taught me that a higher-education could offer me a better life. I attended an extraordinary high school in Italy but I wanted to continue my education here in Miami. I am attending college because I will get an excellent job and most like it make more money when I graduate, I will build more knowledge and skills and finally I will have the college experience and make more friends.
Living in Haiti as an adolescent girl if someone had told me that I would have the chance to go to college, obtaining a college degree, and pursue a master’s degree in the United States, I probably would think that person is crazy, or the least ask that person what a college degree is? I was born on an island on Haiti name Lagonave and spend most of my adolescent years between the Lagonave and Port-au-Prince which is the primary Capital of Haiti. I don't remember precisely when I started going to school while leaving there, but I do remember that spend a lot of time in school due to lack of fund for the school and teachers to teach. By the age of nine my grandmother was able to send me to school in Port-au-Prince, but eventually, I had to drop out due to lack of money to pay for my schooling in the city. In the U.S. children can go to school for free, but on Haiti, parents must pay for their children education.
Every sense Elementary school I knew that I wanted to go to college to get my Bachelors Degree and Ultimately my Masters. Even as a little girl I had a love for science. I was very inquisitive; I always wanted to touch things that I would see outside to find out how it feels, smells, and how it does what it does. Due to this intense curiosity, when I went to college I decided that I would major in Biology. However, I was unclear on exactly what I wanted to do with my degree once I received it.
The future is a big worry to many students as they go approach high school and graduation. Some have no idea what they want to do with life. Some students have known what they aspire to do even back to their freshman year. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my future until this year, my senior year. I definitely know now that I want to go to college after high school.
There are very few times in your life when you are given the opportunity to explore the world in a way like this. In fact, a major reason why I chose to go to college in the first place is to study abroad. The University of Michigan has afforded me the ability to go all over the globe and learn from other cultures. As a child, I wasn't able to travel very much since my dad was sick a lot, but after being accepted into Michigan, I am now able to travel. If accepted into this program, it would be the first time I leave the country.
Nowadays, the rate of college students increases at a high speed and the needs of workers with skill and knowledge force more students to get higher education. So am I, one of the reasons I came to college is to find a delightful future for myself. Let me introduce the reasons for my entering college. First, when I was little, I always got information that I should study hard to get addicted by good universities from my parents and teachers. So I decided to do that because of the environment around me.
I love learning new things and going to school as I've already mentioned. It sounds strange, but I find comfort and connections with people I wouldn't normally associate myself with at school. I consider the community that comes along with college when I consider going there. A person's life begins a fresh chapter at college. It's an opportunity to expand your social network, develop new skills, and perhaps begin building your professional network.
We all have hundreds if not thousands of choices when it comes to universities that we can attend. There are some that are campus only, some that are on line only, and in more recent years, a few that have broadened their course offerings to include both campus and online curriculum. The availability of online degrees has grown in leaps and bounds in the last several decades. Like any business, a university will experience growing pains when adding or changing new ideas through the years and it is how those changes are managed that will ultimately show the strength of the educational foundation. The Christian cornerstone that is so important to the Bethel community is the first difference that I know makes my choice to attend this university
Throughout my life, I have been criticized for my aspiration to pursue a greater education. Many people always tried to extinguish my confidence for being different. I chose not to be a follower as I avoided what many people in my family could not avoid; that is, dropping out of high school, to begin working and financially aid the family. The environment I have been living in has helped me become a motivated and disciplined person in order to attend college and earn a college degree. For years my family had to strive as my father has worked for over 25 years in order for my family to be financially stable and in order for me to have a chance at a college education.
Why I Go to School Going to college was always a dream of mine, to be able to experience a high level education for career I always wanted to go into. I never knew if I would have the opportunity because I did not have the financial means to go; however, I applied to college anyway and hope for the best outcome. The free application for federal student aid is what helped me get the tuition to go to college. Just being able to go college for me is a privilege and is something fundamental for my future goals. Therefore, going to class for me is not a chore or something I dread, going to class motivates me for my future.
A college education is very important for me to obtain the career I want. College will provide me the knowledge and practice I need to be successful. Going to college will help me get accustomed to the pressure of the real world and will give me the opportunity to become independent. Graduating college is my number one goal in life. It would be an awarding payoff for all the hard work and dedication to my studies throughout high school.
