I believe parents are influential in their child’s early language development. Using the word hate is unnecessary, and often damaging to their intellectual growth. The word itself is just that, a redundant word. However, the power it carries by simply using it can be destructive. Many times, it is used thoughtlessly and leaves a lasting impression on the individual. Before a child begins pre-school, they‘re in constant care of parents and family members. In most cases, children grasp adult behaviors because they depend on them. So, whatever that child hears or see, they are most likely to do it as well. For example, parents go on a playdate with their children. The kids are playing a fun game of checkers. Suddenly, you’re friend 's son becomes extremely angry as a result of him losing the game. It is a logical human emotion but can lead to all kinds of negativity. It harms not only the person who hates but also the children who has them as role models. When people have a hateful nature, it can spread like an infection. It’s as powerful as the feeling of love. In conclusion, as children develop their ability to use language, they take in the understanding of social situations and learn how to control their actions.
