In my opinion, I firmly believe that it is better to be underrated rather than overrated. Throughout my life especially watching sports has shown this to be very true. For example, a player who is overrated is expected to have high expectations with almost no room to improve. A sports player who is underrated has a high roof to improve and exceed expectations that people had rather low in the first place.
