Maxwell House is a coffee manufacturer that has been around for over two centuries. Introduced in 1892, Maxwell House has been one of the largest-selling coffee manufacturers in the world. Claiming title as the most well-known coffee brand, Maxwell House has “been around the block” with their products. In 1990, Maxwell House released a 48 ounce Ready-to-Drink Brewed coffee with high hopes. It was called “Ready-to-Drink Brewed Coffee” and was to be microwaved to be prepared. However, the foil-lined container didn’t play well with microwaves. Plus, having cold milk sitting next a container for hot coffee sent the wrong message.
