A Chapter in the Life of Musician Quincy Jones
First, have you ever met somebody famous that has taught you something? Quincy Jones was an important piece of Black History Month. Jones worked as a social activist. Quincy played the trumpet and was an outstanding musician. He made popular music and some of those songs made top hits. Quincy Jones definitely made important footsteps on this earth before he left it.
Second, Quincy Jones was born on 3/14/1933. He was born in Chicago, Illinois. Quincy Jones's parents divorced before his little brother was born and his father raised him and his brother with a new wife. Quincy was a part of the song “Thriller” by Michael Jackson. “It was a number-one hit song the date was November 29, 1982.” “Quincy Jones and others produced “We are the World.” to raise money for hunger relief in Africa.” Ray Charles helped Quincy become a better musician. “Quincy is tied with Beyonce for most grammy awards.” “Quincy Jones's most famous quote is “Once a task is just begun, never leave it till it's done. Be the labor great or small, do it well or not at all.” Lastly, Quincy has been a record producer, artist, film producer, arranger, conductor, instrumentalist, television producer, record company executive, magazine founder, and multi-media entrepreneur. Jones led his own band producing in the USA, and Europe. Quincy was the first African American to hold such a high executive position with major-white owned record company. Quincy Jones's biggest music hits are “Stuff like that”, “I'm gonna miss you in the morning”, “One Hundred ways”, and “Betcha wouldn't hurt me.”
Finally, Quincy was a musician. That is not why he was a part of Black History Month. Quincy tried so many ways to help the Black community. Quincy Jones joined the board of saving humanity. Jones helped the community and he did his part now it is up to other Black
