If people would come to resolution with each other there wouldn't be as much tragedy or conflict in the story. Why is this play considered a tragedy? This play is considered a tragedy because Romeo got in a fight with his cousins that later on he kills and has to be banished. That is bad for Romeo and Juliet because they are secretly married and now with Romeo gone Juliets dad wants her to marry Paris. Another tragedy is two lovers were not aloud to marry each other because they were from different clans that hated each others guts so they wouldn’t allow them to get married which later on kill themselves because they think it’s how they think they can be together.
