In William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, a long feud between the Montague and Capulet families disrupts the city of Verona and causes tragic results for Romeo and Juliet. Revenge, love, and a secret marriage causes the young star-crossed lovers to grow up quickly. Fate causes them to commit suicide in despair. In the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, the Montagues and Capulets was the most at fault for the tragic ending. The first reason that the Montagues and Capulets are responsible for the tragedy of romeo and juliet is the way they act around each other. If they got along and were nice to each other then they wouldn't have a problem with romeo and juliet loving each other and they wouldn't fight. A long feud between the Montague and Capulet families disrupts the city of Verona. However Romeo and Juliet fall in love and secretly get married. Their love and connection ends up to be a misunderstanding and they both end up killing themselves over each other. If the montagues and Capulets gotten along and did not cause such a corruption then this tragedy wouldn't happen. Since Romeo and Juliet loved each other, it was hard for them to communicate and talk. They had to hide their marriage. However, i've learned some things from Romeo and Juliet. You should not make rash, quick decisions; rash decisions usually only lead to trouble. Another thing I learned is that suicide should not be an option for dealing with the problems of young love. Romeo and Juliet’s love is really infatuation. True love takes time to build. Romeo and Juliet only knew each other for five days, which is not enough time for anyone to fall in love.
