The American Revolution was an important event that made our country, what it is today. People fought for independance just so that they can live their own rules, most of them didn’t make it but they still wanted our country to live in peace and live the way we wanted to so they risked their lives for us. The American Revolution was a political upheaval. The colonists the thirteen American colonies, which were Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, Connecticut, Massachusetts Bay, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Virginia, New York, North Carolina, and Rhode Island, rejected the laws of the British. They rebelled against them. This soon led to a war today known as The American Revolution. The war was fought between Great Britain and the American Colonists.
