Many kids and teens forget basic skills over a very long summer break. It can be hard to re-learn and to re-teach as a student and a teacher. The Year-Round School schedule is superior to the traditional schedule because students are less likely to froget concepts, are more willing to focus, and still ‘have time to have fun. The biggest problem, with the traditional schedule, is students forget already taught concepts.
Year round school benefit is for a child not to have a lapse in learning or remembering what they’ve learned. That’s when the parents or guardians need’s to step in to continue educational learning. Teachers alone can’t be responsible for the education others need to play their part. Just because summer vacation has started doesn’t mean learning should have stopped. Since year round schooling isn’t what’s normal adjusting could be difficult.
Traditional school schedules have kids in school from late summer until late spring, the year-round schedule has kids in school all year but the difference is there are longer breaks in the year-round schedule. It is time to switch from the traditional schedule to the year-round schedule because students learn better and don’t lose information over a long summer break, is more convenient for everyone and reduces the stress of school and makes it more enjoyable. School Year Round Why would anyone want to go to school a year-round? Firstly, A school year-round should be offered each year so students will not forget the learning. Finally, another drawback is that without summer break, there will be a financial toll. High schoolers might be less able to get summer jobs.” This could end up causing a big financial problem for a lot of people. To conclude, the benefits and drawbacks of year-round schooling are about equal.
Students in school experience a boatload of work and that can cause a tremendous amount of stress in school. Instead of one big break, students should get more breaks in between the school year to get rid of that stress. Along with this, one long break can give students burnout which makes students lose their train of thought from what they learned the year before. For example if students have a long big break, Students may not remember what they learned before. There are many more reasons to why Year-Round Schools should be all over the country.

Having breaks allows the kids’ brains to get a long needed break from learning. Having an all-year school schedule could have effects on kids and their bodies.
