General Robert E. Lee General Robert E. Lee was a general for the confederacy. Lew was one of the most famous and most revered in the south. Hw is a leader who would always lead his own arm personally into battle. He would not just me on the outside behind the scenes he wanted to lead by his actions and he would be in the front line fighting with his soldiers. General Lee always knew what was best for his troops also. He knew how to blend his troops needs and his needs to win the war perfectly. This mix of being able to satisfy his troops and his needs to win the war for the south was a perfect concoction to victory. General Robert E. Lee was also a faith man. He completely loved God and nothing could ever change that. He found his strength in God by praying and striving to be attached to him at all times. He is also a faithful man not just to God but to his hometown also. He had always loved Virginia where he lived and grew up. He felt at home there and somewhat fought his friends and family at home. General Lee was a loved man by his solders. He is also portrayed as a tough man with a soft side. He only has a little bit of more time to live because of a heart problem so he is trying to live his life to the fullest.
