Last month I fell asleep in class because I was so tired from having to wake up early to go to school. I just couldn’t stay awake in class, because I had to wake up at 5:45 for school and go to school. I was so embarrassed, because the teacher had to wake me up in front of the whole class, and everyone was laughing at me. I am always so scared to go to that class because I feel I will fall asleep and everyone will laugh at me just like they did before. Schools should start later because students will be more attentive, they will get better grades and have a higher chance of graduating. Having later start times can benefit kids in many ways such as improving their grades. When schools have later start times, students can wake up later and be more awake leading to them being more attentive in class and getting better grades.
