Teenagers love money. However, the problem with earning money is that kids are too busy to get a job. Or a job is not enough money for their needs, especially in this changing economy. Jeffrey Selingo, in his piece “Why More Teenagers and College Students Need to Work While in School,” argues that more kids should work while pursuing their education. He expresses the importance of finding time for a job, and that making money is not the only thing teenagers gain from a job.
In the article “Should Kids Get Paid to Do Chores?”, the mom makes really good points on why kids shouldn’t get paid. She explains that Megan’s dad doesn’t get paid to wash the dishes or take out the trash, so why should she? The mom says, “And I would be a millionaire if I got paid every time I did the laundry or made lasagna or drove you and your brother to school.”. This is a very good point because, if Megan were to get paid to do chores, who would pay her mom, dad, and brother for their chores?
Once upon a time there were two men who were on a hike on a faraway island. They had heard that there was treasure on that island, so that’s why they were there. As they were walking, they saw a cave, so they entered. Their names were Bob and Andresophotheus. When they rounded the corner in the cave, a strange sight greeted their eyes.

I think teens should be paid less than the adults because it would encourage businesses to hire them and to gain work experience and learn valuable life and career skills. A high youth unemployment rate is bad for our society. First, many teens are trying to support their family and save money for college. But to do that, they need to get a job first.

Child Labor in the United States was different than Child Labor in China But also the same in some ways too. There were pros and cons to each of them. Some might have been better in the United States and worse in China and some might be better in China and worse in the United States. Children need money when they want something and if they don't get paid for doing chores then how will they get it. Paragraph One - Introduction Do you think kids should be assigned homework? Studies show that if kids and teens have at least 10 minutes of homework every night their test scores might go up. Also, even though kids say that they get stressed out most of them just want to get out of doing their homework. Not only this, but, they will get smarter or just stay smart. They don’t have to get smarter with every piece of homework they do, but at least they won’t fall behind on their work.
Pros #1 Child labor is very important towards poor families who need extra help bringing food and money in the house. Most children under the age of ten start working in order to help bring in a decent amount of money in order to help their parents and siblings survive. Children are not incompetent; most realize when their parents are struggling to make ends meat, they try to help out as much as they can and most decided that, even though they are young, they have to start doing more therefore most decide to start working. The jobs they receive often don’t pay much so in order to have higher pay most children work for hours on end in order to bring in more money especially if they come from extremely poor families. “Victor chapani started working when he was 10- a few hours a day- rounding up passengers minibuses in his impoverished city of El Alto, Bolivia... earning less than a dollar an hour… “United,” he says, sounding like a seasoned adult laborite, “we as child workers can achieve anything.”
