Juneteenth freed the slaves from capture and after it was made slaves went free. Juneteenth is the day that the emancipation proclamation was signed and the slaves were officially freed. I will be talking about and explaining Juneteenth to you and notifying you of what it is about. I will be explaining the different things that were made to help African Americans. Telling you how they were freed and how they were supposed to be treated like they were equal to Caucasian people. Juneteenth isn't just a day that we celebrate black history month. Juneteenth was influenced by black African Americans who were so excited to leave plantations they were singing. Juneteenth influenced civil rights because we still pushed more and more for equality. African Americans got tired of bumping heads with Caucasian people, so they started fighting for more equality in society. Juneteenth is important because of the history of our heritage. Juneteenth is important today because of what it stands for. It stands for what our ancestors went through. Juneteenth is important today because of the mark it made in history by freeing the slaves.Juneteenth is still important today because of the significant impact it left on the slaves that were freed. The act of 1964 is one of the most social examples of what we go through today.If you're driving a nice car or if you live in a good neighborhood you still get racially discriminated against by another race.The most cultural issue we have is how our African American race is treated. treated like we don't belong in a nice place or have nice expensive things. I've seen videos on the internet of African American people being racial profiled and racially discriminated
