To all parents do teenagers ever think about learning about how to manage money at a young age? When do parents think the right age is to teach teenagers? When they are 16 or 18? When the teens are about to go off to college? Do parents think that it should be taught at an early age? Or do parents think schools are going to do all the teaching? Well for right now all schools do not teach teenagers about managing money. Have parents ever thought about opening a saving accounts for the teen at an early age and just adding money for future references? Parents are afraid to tell teenagers no because they’ll pout and cry all the time? Then the teen show out in front of everybody and embarrasses the parent because mom/dad doesn’t have control over the kid, well until mom/dad starts telling the kids no and stop saying yes that kid will be okay because every time mom says yes, then the teen is thinking that present is mine every time. Parents are the boss of the house not the kid child, so don’t let the kid take over, because the kid is bossy, step up and start telling the kid no. …show more content…

Some rules that should be followed are; As young children reach the late grades of elementary school, the children start to learn about the cost of a dollar and the main reasons of saving. By the start of middle school, children start to understand that the clothes, shoes, toys and games that are wanted can cost a lot of money. “Kids at this age need to learn that if they really want something, they should wait and save to buy it” because you can’t always buy some as soon as you want it (Forbes Welcome). As they get into the teens, kids have a much better hold of how much stuff costs and are capable of understanding quite a bit about money if they are actively taught how to manage
