“Education is not a preparation for life; education is life itself’ -John Dewey. The current issue still running through our beloved country is whether education should, or should not become, controlled federally or locally. The United States, and each and every one of its communities, is built upon the state’s vested interest. There are educational imperatives, religious convictions, and cultural ideals strictly provided to each and every one of our states; and they all assemble our country as United.
Therefore, to grant local control of education inhabits citizens with the right to choose and target their own educational preferences over a nationwide’s bias choosing to what we should learn. The schools can be transformed by the school boards and local governments that teach the values of their local community, whilst at the same time letting each state be just that much different from the next. The diversity of our beliefs unites us as a nation. We are pushed forward by a plethora of perspectives. We simply cannot live this way if we wish to grow a strong nation. …show more content…

This ranges from strict religion in a lot of schools compared to free belief in the others. However, I strongly believe learning a little religion could open up people’s imagination a little bit to it instead of imaginating that the earth acts as everything logical and that nothing remains out there. Nevertheless, it should not be something that survives or dies by forcing Americans to learn or not to learn nationwide. This outcome will turn a lot of people away from it for sure if they did not believe, yet considered it. It will also cause a lot of believers to question their faith; and possibly drop it where it stands. Religion simply cannot be programmed into or out of every American since our nation’s flag stands for Freedom, not
