Should Animal Testing be banned? I. Imagine, being taken away from your family, and living inside a crowded cage in a laboratory without ever seeing daylight again. Every day, animals are being forcefully held and strapped down, while a scientist tests a new drug on their bodies. This is an example of a daily experience an innocent animal has to undergo for the rest of their life. Tested animals are held in captivity for the sake of finding new methods to cure diseases or simply for observation and examination.
Animal Testing In 2014 about over 834,453 animals were used for experiments. The total amount of animals for the count of that year were more and likely wrong. Why? Because sometimes labs don't count all the animals that they have that are tested on and some of them are not legally protected.
Do you think it is wrong to test on innocent animals? Although you could argue the benefits of animal testing, there are many negatives to it as well. One of these negatives include the animals who are kept in captivity for the experiments. 115 million animals worldwide are used for experimenting every year according to Humane
I think that we should not test on animals because they should have freedom like humans. Also animals have families to take care of then being tested. They need to be at their home and not to be tested. The animals probable don’t like being tested on because they are taken away from their homes. Thade problem is that the animals that are tested on don’t have a choice on being a test dummy.adw The animals should live free in the wild instead of being tested on.
Animal testing has been used by scientists to test drugs and makeup products for many years. They have been kept in labs, poked, prodded at, observed, forced to inhale, eat, and wear substances that have killed them. Millions of animals have died each year because of this testing, and it needs to be stopped. Animal testing should not be continued because it is ineffective, it wastes lives, and is inhumane. Animal testing needs to be discontinued because it is ineffective.
Imagine being a helpless creature lying in a cage just waiting for the day that death comes to visit and takes you out of your misery. Animal testing should have been banned everywhere because of the detrimental effects to the animals, including the inhumane living conditions and the poor treatment towards them, as well as not using alternate methods, and the lack of consideration towards their basic rights. Animal testings is barbaric and for what, it is a proven fact that a 92% of experimental drugs that are safe on animals end up failing on human clinical trials. As well these helpless creatures are kept in horrifyingly tiny and filthy cages. As if the dreadful conditions they live in aren't enough they go through painful and gruesome tests, and some are even killed in the process.
Even though there are relevant results by testing on animals, such results can also be found by testing in some vitro. I am against animal testing because animals have rights, there are alternative methods for testing products and some deem to punish animals more than needed. Generally speaking, as debated by many animal rights activist, animals have rights just like we as humans have rights. “Animals have
Yet animals and humans are different species with distinct physiology, metabolism and immune system. Human beings and animals react differently to chemical and pharmaceutical substances; therefore animals testing cannot guarantee the safety for human. Many drugs on the basis of animal experiments were considered to be safe, however they had serious or even lethal reactions on humans. Furthermore, for drugs assurance, the product is tested on many other species and vast amount of animals. In the end, the drugs fail to success and the enormous numbers of animals unnecessarily
To start off, I think animal testing is wrong. It may benefit OUR lives, but it doesn’t for the animals being tested on. It is cruel, inhumane, and sometimes isn’t necessary for the product. There are alternatives to this and it can cause much pain and suffering to the animals. In my opinion, animal testing is wrong and here are my reasons why I think so.
Animal Testing Should Be Banned Animal testing also known animal experimentation is a process whereby non-human animals are used to conduct experiments. There has been an increase of animal testing in the field of biomedical research. Due to this, animal testing has become an extreme controversial topic that has created a division among different groups, of those who are supporting the process and those who are opposing. Therefore, there are ongoing debates on whether animal testing should go on or it should be banned. Some groups argue it is ethical, while others insist that the process is unethical, and there is a last group advocating for alternatives in the testing other than the use of animals.
Should Animal Testing be Allowed? Animal testing has been a controversial issue for a long time now. Whether or not animal testing is humane or not, both sides of the argument are hard to choose from . On one hand you have the possibility of curing diseases, saving lives, and helping the human race. On the other hand you have the lives of many innocent animals who are being injected, probed, caged and mistreated for just facts.
