The particular area that Jesse was born in happened to be settled by many people that were originally from the upper south, such as the states of Kentucky and Tennessee. This helped the plot of territory earn its nickname “Little Dixie”. Jesse was born into a family of two other full siblings, his eldest brother, Alexander Franklin James, and a younger sister, Susan Lavenia James. His father, Robert S. James, was a commercial hemp farmer, and baptist pastor who originally lived in Kentucky before coming to Missouri.

Jimmy valentine is a famous, or rather infamous bank robber that just got out of jail. He found a new town that he would like to stay in. He also goes by the new name of Ralph Spencer. Jimmy Valentine was truly dedicated to living a moral life because he changed his name, he was about to give away his robbery gear, and he gave up crime to start a shoe company.
The Rise of Daniel Hale Williams Daniel Hale Williams III was an extraordinary African American surgeon. Dr. Williams, the son of a barber, was a free African American born during the 1800s to Daniel Hale Williams II and Sarah Williams. Dr. Williams’ family was heavily impacted by the ongoing history at the time. Furthermore, Dr. Williams’ ancestors were slaves. Daniel’s ancestors on both sides were a mixture of European, Native American, and African American.

James did not get along well with his stepmother and ran away from home at the age of eight to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The September 1962 riot at the University of Mississippi in Oxford is an unusual and revealing moment in the history of whites and civil rights in the state. James Meredith was a Civil Rights activist and wanted to attend an all white college called “University of Mississippi”. He was also the first African American to attend Ole Miss and graduate. James Meredith grew up on a farm, and was born on June 25, 1933, in Kosciusko, MS. He was the seventh of the thirteen children.

James Meredith was one of the most influential people in the Civil Rights Movement because of the stuff he did to address civil rights. This is why I believe that James Meredith was the most important and influential person in the civil rights movement. James Meredith helped give many african americans more rights and opportunities by being a leader for people to follow and look up to.

He thought he had the “divine right” to rule England and the rest of its territories. Divine right means to have been given power by God, himself. James I was first born the king of Scotland but James I became king of England after Queen Elizabeth died.
The word “primitive” is subjective in society, meaning to not have a high state of culture and social development. Some may argue that the Igbo methods were primitive. In the story “Things Fall Apart” by Chinua Achebe, the Igbo community is more advanced than it appears. While certain beliefs such as the killing of twins showed primitive behaviors, they were more sophisticated than what meets the eye. They had a complex social, political, and economic system, as well as a rich culture that included art, music, dance, and storytelling.
Bessie Head’s “The Deep River: A story of Ancient Tribal Migration” is a short story written about how the Talaote tribe was divided into two groups. The point of view is third-person narration full omniscient. In the story, everything is happening around Sebembele, the chief of the Talaote tribe. The narrator also informs the reader about Sebembele’s feelings, evident with the statement “It was not hatred he felt but peace at last”(1103). Being an omniscient character, the narrator could read Sebembele’s feelings.
