General Statement One can not give their bling loyalty to anyone. Thesis statement Shakespeare’s play, “Hamlet”, serves as a cautionary tale against extreme loyalty, seen within the characters as their devotion to other progress, and they lose their integrity.
Intro: A famous quote from Ghandi says, “An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.” This is a quote that applies to the characters in Hamlet who are driven by revenge. To put in simple terms, an eye for an eye means whatever you do someone will be done to you. The characters acted through their anger and emotions, rather than with thorough thought, because they were insistent on getting revenge on those who did them wrong.

These previous couple months have been crazy for the Danish court. Following the tragic death of King Hamlet, the new king was almost immediately inducted and then married to the widow of the former king. Though when at the funeral there were many people in a depressed mood as they mourned the previous leader. Though the most distraught person attending was King Hamlets only son, the Prince Hamlet. During the viewing he was there to comfort his mother but showed little emotion as he was terribly surprised at the death of his father.
William Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564, in Stanford-upon-Avon and died on April 23, 1616. He was baptized on April 26, 1564. He was the third of the eight children born to John Shakespeare and Mary Arden, daughter of the wealthy landowner. Williams father was a glove maker, a grain dealer, and served in various civic offices as a member of town council. Later he married a local girl Anne Hathaway and moved in together.
Hamlet In Class Essay Hamlet is a play written by William Shakespeare around the 1600s that highlights what vengeance can do to people and how it changes the soul. Much like any other series that has come to life on the big screen, there are noticeable differences between the book and the film such as how they dress, speak, and much more. Biographical Summary Shakespeare is an incredible playwright and author, however it was difficult for him to become as successful as he is. Shakespeare was born to a family in the middle class. So, he did not attend university or get a mentor to teach him. He did not grow up with money, nor did he marry into it. He was not a lead in any plays, and the only reason he was able to make successful plays was because royalty favored his writing.

It wasn’t until after Shakespeare’s death that critics divided his plays into categories; Histories, Comedies, Tragedies, and Romances.
Williams Shakespeare is recognized as the greatest English writer. One of his best works ever written is “Hamlet”, which is the most complex, confusing, and frequently performed play. The extreme complexity of the main character – prince Hamlet in this play contributes to its popularity until today. “Hamlet is supposedly the most quoted figure in Western culture after Jesus, maybe the most charismatic too” (Bloom 384). In the most famous revenge tragedy, his biggest weakness that he procrastinates completing his revenge for his father’s death by killing the murderer.
