William Shakespeare is a famous poet and playwright, but he also symbolizes leadership, empathy, and kindness as well as many other things that make him a great role model. All around us role models are setting examples for people, but most students are too busy chatting or working to notice them. This is way a clear and solid visual would be a great way to support these good qualities in students. As mentioned earlier, William Shakespeare possessed many good qualities that people still desire today, making him a great person to put in the courtyard. He had to use synergy to make a living. Not only that, but he shared his money with his family. He supported them and they supported him. They worked together to produce successful and happy lives for the actors and the Shakespeare family. Multiple examples of the Principles of American Citizenship can be found in his career as a playwright. Shakespeare couldn’t procrastinate when write his plays. He needed to be responsible and get his work done. He gained trust this way, making him a trustworthy person. Shakespeare also showed respect to his supporters. The Earl of South Hampton, Queen Elizabeth, and King James I all met with Shakespeare in person. He showed them great respect and earned their trust and admiration in return. Teachers push the students to use their giftedness to the highest level. Shakespeare was considered a literary genius, too. He used his giftedness to the maximum and made the most out of his life. Installing a statue of Shakespeare in our courtyard would be a great reminder to students that they should try their best to be a great person. William Shakespeare was also a pioneer in the literacy world. He gave women stronger parts in plays and added new words or phrases to our english vocabulary. This could push students to step out of their comfort zone and try new things. William Shakespeare once said, “It is not in the stars to hold our destiny, but ourselves.” If students could keep this quote in mind, they’d be inspired to work harder and make a great future for themselves. Brickell Academy would be a fabulous school filled with students who might one day become pioneers in this fast growing world. In conclusion, a Shakespeare statue would remind our students of his leadership and what he made of his potential. With this inspiration, our students might also become big leaders one
